Tea as Ritual | Summer Q&A
An Invitation to Begin
Curious about how tea can become more than a beverage, how it can anchor your days with presence, clarity, beauty, and connection?
The Tea as Ritual Summer Q&A is a complimentary gathering designed as an open doorway into the summer cohort. It functions as both an introduction and a Q&A, offering you the opportunity to experience the spirit of the program before committing to the full journey.
Together, we’ll share tea, explore the foundations of tea as a living practice, and speak openly about what unfolds across the course. There will be space for questions, reflection, and conversation, as well as time to sense whether this path aligns with where you are now.
This session is especially welcoming for those drawn to tea as a contemplative practice and for those seeking a relationship with tea rooted in authenticity rather than performance.
While this session is complimentary, advance registration is required. Your place will be confirmed by email once your registration is received.

About Tea as Ritual | Summer Cohort
A Six-Session Journey into Tea as a Living Practice
Tea as Ritual is an immersive series exploring tea as a lived, embodied practice. Guided by Adrienne Etkin, Tea Educator and Cultural Guide, the series invites participants into a slower, more intentional way of working with tea, grounded in presence, humility, and care.
This summer cohort offers the full Tea as Ritual course in a condensed seasonal format. Across six weekly sessions and a culminating closing ceremony, participants move step by step: from establishing a personal tea practice, to deepening sensory awareness and discernment, to sharing tea as ritual within community.
At its essence, Tea as Ritual is about finding the sacred in the ordinary. Ritual here is lived rather than performed, cultivated through sincerity, repetition, and restraint rather than memorized forms. Each participant is invited to discover what feels true for them, grounded in foundational tea knowledge, and to weave that understanding into daily life with depth and beauty.
A basic familiarity with true tea, Camellia sinensis, is recommended. For those who have not previously taken Two Leaves & a Bud, this foundational course is strongly encouraged.
