Through the Tea Portal is a special Saturday CommuniTea Table honoring journeys, transitions, and auspicious new beginnings. This single afternoon will hold three thresholds at once. The tea table opens at 2:00 PM, with the Tea as Ritual final presentations beginning at 3:00 PM. Arrive early to settle in over tea, or join us as the presentations begin.

This Saturday, we are gathering for several meaningful reasons. Adrienne is saying goodbye before departing for Hong Kong the following morning, where she will spend the week immersed in tea culture, sourcing, research, and connection. We will also celebrate our friend Michael Cantalupo as he steps forward into his own Zen journey, marking a new chapter that deserves more than a quiet goodbye.

At 3:00 PM, the Tea as Ritual students will share their final tea presentations, the culmination of six weeks spent studying tea, ritual, presence, hospitality, and the practice of slowing down together.

There is no single tea for an afternoon like this one. What is poured will meet the moment, chosen to hold space for departures and beginnings alike. Each cup will carry its own small thread of the day’s larger story.

Tea was never meant to be a solo act, and a day like this proves it.
